Hira Shankh

Hira shankh as the name suggests have minute sparkle like crystals that glow like a diamond .The intensity of sparkle varies from shankh to shankh with few having more sparkles than the other.These are fossilized shankhs that harden up like a stone during course of many years.Hira shankhs are also known as  Pahadi shankhs.A hira shakh is very auspicious as  it resembeles a rare dakshinavarti shankh in which the shankh spiral moves towards the right side. A dakshinavarti shankh is said to be abode of lakshmi ji ,hence installing a hira shankh in the pooja alter of the home attracts wealth and abundance .Hira shankhs are very fragile and delicate.Care should be taken while handling them. These shankhs dont blow but are kept in pooja alter for worship.A Hira shankh grants to its possessor all materialistic gains and his Venus in the birth chart gets well placed.  Hira shankhs are mountain shankhs which are burried deep within the mountains of the indian sub continent .
